Arts & Crafts at St Merryn

If you are starting to think about Christmas shopping – yes it’s 4 weeks + 1 day away today, then pop along to the St. Merryn parish hall this weekend (Sat 26th & Sun 27th) there is an arts and crafts fair on there and amongst those exhibiting wil be Angie & Mike from Padstow Art. Below is a shot of some of the miniatures I have been printing for them on water colour paper, they look terrific and will be framed and ready to give as a gift – perfect.
Overdue update

For one reason or another I have rather neglected the blog so I thought while I am waiting for a new print head to be delivered I would use this time to post an update. Firstly it was great to print off four canvases for Anna Mazek, the artist who came up with the idea for the print on demand gallery etc, her canvases looked lovely and it was good to get an email from her to say how pleased she was with them. We also had an order for two prints from Liz Pannells personal web page, these are done and have been dispatched post haste to London.
On the Octopus Art site we welcome London based artist Samantha Anne Hutchinson, so far we have three of her paintings on the site with more to follow soon, you can have a look at them here. Paul Beattie has also uploaded some more wonderful paintings to add to his gallery pages so keep an eye on his page for these and don’t forget he runs workshops and gives tuition more about that here.
The new photography section on the site will be up and running soon, I have four photographers wanting to go on as soon as we all have some spare time to get images uploaded, listed and added to the database etc.
The sound of the door bell means either my printer part has arrived or it is Asda in which case I can have a coffee, either would be good. I will try to update the blog again soon as time permits, dont forget if you have any art news or exhibitions do let me know.
